For those who do not know Class 48's were basically Class 47 locomotives with a different type of Sulzer engine.Only five were built with as far as I know some or all being converted back to Class 47's and one is the GCR's 47114.
For all those who know this any what I would like to know that other than 114 is there any left.

Okay then question answered so no Class 48's left although a former one survives at the GCR.
Now for my second question what about 47/9 with its Ruston engine used as a testbed for the Class 58's.

Scrapped years ago. I recommend the multi volume "allocation history of BR Diesels and Electrics" for this sort of question.
