Yesterday this loco was outside next to the "Rocket" not looking to good.

Wonder if it will get a makeover for the "royal wedding".

Aye, lose its names and get a coat of Rail Blue.......;)

Nah, the current livery suits it quite well :) A tad bit boring to see preserved locos all in the same livery, I wouldn't mind seeing 55022 in Police livery now that would be worth seeing which would be much nicer then that hideous Porterbrook livery on 55016.

As answer to the above question the nrm are running shuttles between york and shildon on the 24th and 25th of september using 70013 Oliver Crommwell as part of the lms event being held at both sites.

hope this helps

Bit of an odd one the situation with 'Prince William' (the 47 I mean), wasn't it safeguarded by the NRM against 'over use' a couple of years back??? Now it's deteriorating outside??? I hope not...
