Class 47 old times today

So today outside the office on the freight only Kew to South Acton line we had 47815 waiting to head north (dragging a 442?), being passed by WCRC Class 47 headed empty to Windsor... Not too often Class 47s pass each other these days I guess...

It's not the first - certainly the second, if not the third over the past few weeks - usually 47812 in charge

47815 with 442020 (42020) to Ely for storage. The West Coast 47s on a Manchester to Windsor charter.

West coast 47s were ECS from Acton to Windsor, to form 16:15 to Southport. Still don't know which ones they were though!

47812 Was out and about as well today though also working for ROG - working 5Z47 Glasgow Works to Leicester L.I.P with 2 Barrier Vans in tow.
