Class 47 at Kings Cross this morning?

[Downthelane]

Does anyone know what it was doing? I couldn't see any planned tour for today.

There around 08.50 sitting slightly outside platform 6.

Many thanks

Would this have brought in the stock for the Flying Scotsman charter?

[Downthelane]

Yes have just seen that path on RTT so that must be the reason.

Nice to see a 47 there again, must be at least 15 years since they stopped as the KGX Thunderbird allocation.

Many thanks

Spoon, Joseph, Strumbox, etc. Plenty of nicknames for 47s to choose from.
