Class 450 "Selective" Annoucnements

On the class 450s can guards select which coaches a PA announcement is made in? I was watching a clip on youtube and the train was on its way to the next station at which the SDO would be used and the guard said that if you could hear the announcement you were in the wrong part of the train to get off at the next station.

The guard can make a PA announcement in certain units only, but not in individual coaches. They can also make the PIS screens display things in certain units only. Certain automatic announcements will only play in certain carriages. When the new ASDO system came in with doors opening per carriage rather than per unit also before those automatic announcements started.
