Class 444 v Class 450

For Me 444 all the way due to the seating layout. Hated the things when the first came out due to replacing the 442.

How many seats on a 10 coach 444 compared to a 12 coach 450?

Of course the 444s are better they are more spacious and have a lower seating capacity compared to a 450 but rush hour time the 12 car shifts many more people.

The 450s definitely have their uses, very well designed for rush-hour trains. Although for comfort a 444 wins easily.

Can only concur.
Everybody hates the 3 + 2 seating on 450s, also the seat rake is more upright than a 444, making them very uncomfortable for anything other than a short off -peak journey.
