What can the driver see in the cab on screen? Is it only the external cameras for dispatch or also inside the train?

Not sure about class 387 specifically but most in cab camera equipment the exterior cameras come on automatically when doors are released and then go off when the train starts moving. A driver can select to view individual interior coach cameras manually if they need to. But the usual use of them is automattic for dispatch purposes

External Only on Electrostars. On 377s you used to be able to see Internal Cameras on the screens on the Inactive Cab...

You only see internal cameras when a PASSCOM has been activated - and then thats on the MITRAC TMS screen.

Could be left over from 375s that don't have DOO Cameras/ Screens.
