It's great to see them out and about at last! I think they look really good, especially at speed. Thanks for the videos.

lovely video mate! any idea what the times are for the test runs and where they run to? Also any daytime tests?

Hence why I went to Lochwinnoch, I'm pretty sure the line speed there is 90mph (one of the few places where these units benefit from the previous 70mph speed limits everywhere else)

The test runs commenced on Monday and end on Friday, see scot-rail.co.uk for details and times, under the link to Class 380
There are no daytime tests
Thereafter driver training runs commence

Monday was a basic test :
Polmadie - Carstairs

Tuesday and Wednesday are comparator tests :
Glasgow - Gourock - Glasgow - Paisley
Paisley - Ayr - Paisley - Ayr - Glasgow

Thursday and Friday are interference tests :
Glasgow - Carlisle - Carstairs
Carstairs - Carlisle - Glasgow

Next week the driver training runs commence, using the same diagrams as Thursday
