Class 378 February 2010

Hi,

Can anyone clarify which parts of the London Overground are likely to be run by 378s at this stage please? I ask because I am taking advantage of London Midland's Great Escape thing on the 13th (Saturday) and am coming back via Watford Junction. Are 378s running on weekends at this stage, and if yes are any services after 21:00 likely to use them? [Yes, I know, I would have to pay...]

As I understand it the North London Line and West London Line are the most likely place to catch a 378. Both are still a mix of 313/378 until the end of the month and the major blockage of the NLL on the east side sees all NLL/WLL services become 378's.

378s won't appear on the DC line at the mo as there is a DOO issue which still has to be resolved.

There are not many 313's left on the NLL or WLL, mostly 378 opperated. :-x

Well the only times you'll ever get to see a 378 on the DC line at the moment is after 10pm at Watford there are two stabled every night.

One then leaves Watford for Richmond at 05:00 and the other leaves at 05:28 for Camden Road, so you'll have to be an early bird to catch them. In other words go for the NLL!
