This isn't a major thread, I just want to see what people think.

Unlike most Electrostars, Class 375s have first class seats that are different to standard class. In my opinion, however, they are less comfortable. They are a lot more rounded, and they look more comfortable, but when I sit in them, it pushes my body inwards. My legs are forced together and the contoured headrest forces my head into the centre, which isn't comfortable. I also find the seats harder.

Despite this, I love the first class colour scheme and the moquette is a lot softer than standard class.

Same seats, different cushions.

To me no 2+2 First Class is worthy of the name. The primary reason for choosing First Class for me is to have a seat on the 1 side where it is both a window and an aisle, or secondarily, if I have to sit on the 2 side, that the seat is wide enough for me to have plenty of room to move and work on my laptop, eat etc without touching the person next to me.

1st class on SE is purely to guarantee seats, and does not represent any sort of upgrade to travel experience. It has been suggested that it will be dropped at the franchise changeover, along with everything else that has been delayed.

In all my time travelling on 375s, I never remember seats with this moquette, so I was surprised when I saw this photo from Beno. I remember the blue version and I know the red version was in first class, but I have never come across the red in the /9s. Does anybody have more information on this.

Perhaps, but when compared to 2+3 seating it can at least perhaps be considered 'Premium Economy' compared to the Southern offering!
