Class 370 APT-P set names

Hello all, i'm trying to find a list of the names used on the Class 370 as me and a friend are modeling one for a game.

So far i've only found City of Derby being a name used.

I dont recall them being named as they didnt stay in fixed formations. They were often reformed to use either one or two power cars and numerous set lengths appeared while under test. I of course could be wrong but dont recall any namings

That was the only one named.

Power Car SC49003 was named City of Derby between June 1978 and April 1986. According to the Encyclopedia of Modern Traction Names it was named in recognition of Derby being granted city status in 1977 (Silver Jubilee) and for the research, design and construction that took place in Derby. The APT-P being an embodiment of that would have been considered a good choice, even though the power car was operating on the WCML!

The nameplate was transferred to HST power car 43107 in May 1987, but only remained in place until December 1988 when it gained InterCity Swallow livery.

only one power car was named, and she was named city of derby as mentioned in previous posts...sadly by the time this set got to the wolverton works open day, the name had been removed, the embarrassment factor had already kicked in.

Personally I still think APT-P was a beautifully designed EMU, it was a shame the P sets didnt allow the build of APT-S - the squadrons...we as a nation missed out big style on the APT ...
