Having been looking at some Rail tours it has got me thinking. Are there any regular Public services that are still hauled by 37’s?

sadly not :cry::cry::cry:

dont worry if i ever win the lotto ill set up an open-access company using 37`s along the North Wales Main Line, Birmingham-Holyhead :D

37`s were in regular use untill about 2001-2002, find a service operated by a Class 175 and it was once a 37, hence why i hate those units the most! <D

Nope. Regular Class 37 service to Maesteg anyone? Or Maesteg - Cheltenham?

Last regular service was on Monday 12th December 2006? 37410 did 0744 2F10 Rhymney - Cardiff Central.

However the last regular 37 on the ScotRail sleeper was 37406 on Friday 9th June 1B01 1955 Fort William - Waverly. They last ran on that route August 6th 2006 as 67004 needed Cast Iron brake pads installing.

do you think that it`ll ever make a comeback to reg. service?

No. Why on earth would it? The railways aren't run for nostalgia purposes. The recent spate of loco hauled services (at least, the FGW and Scotrail ones) have been entirely down to not having enough units available to run the services.
