There’s a c2c class 357 centre vehicle on its own outside Ilford depot with bands or straps wrapped around it, any idea what it’s there for (movement by road possibly?)

They're doing the refurbishment work at Ilford for the fleet, repainting and corrosion repairs

357039 is most recent delivered to start on the exterior refresh programme.

There are 3 units currently at ilford in preparation. 046, 019 & 039. 033 is there for wheel lathe.
