Class 350/2s to Northern.

So according to this post, Northern have received £25M to refurbish all of the Class 350/2s to replace the Class 323s. Does anyone know if this is true or not? And what for routes like Blackpool to Manchester, that use 6 car class 331/323, would that mean an 8 car 350/2 would operate that route, I can’t see that happening, as 4 car really isn’t enough for that route. And has anyone got any details about the 3+2 seating. Whether it’s going to be kept or changed. Thank you
