Class 334 glc high level?

With the retirement of the class 318/320s likely within the next few years, is it possible we could see the class 334s return to Ayrshire and Inverclyde services?

Wouldn’t have thought they’d want to go backwards in regards capacity on those routes so no.

Maybe theyll work Cathcart Circle / Paisley Canal or the odd Inverclyde but I doubt Ayrshire

Could largely depend on whether the Bathgate line gets some of the new EMUs procured as part of the 318/320 replacement programme. The new units will most likely have in-cab monitors making them more suitable for the Airdrie - Edinburgh section than 318s / 320s, which AIUI can only run ECS over this route.
