Class 33 on the A12

Saw a class 33 on the A12 northbound at about 10am with Police and civil escorts on Tues 6 Dec 2016 around Witham
Anyone know where it was going, I would like to go and visit it in the Spring

It would have been 33202 - it was due to leave the Spa Valley and go to a private site (in Essex I believe) for work to be carried out.

33202 is a very smart loco. Was given a cab ride at E&OR and it was in very good nick and clearly very well cared for.

Thanks everyone. I should have turned round and followed it. Hope it was not going to EARM for work they have had 306 017 for about 5 yrs nothing done
