That's bonkers. I travelled on 321419 three months ago and it had freshly overhauled bogies. I expected it to be one of the last non PRM units to go.
Believe it or not 321419 was in warm storage at the buffer ends In the sidings near the shed on may 27th 2021 at clacton sidings.
With 321402 and 321405 nearby which went early June.
Same time 321332 and 321407 was in store single on their own at clacton and colchester they went 3 weeks ago.
With 321429 also in warm store went into store that day with 432 from southend Victoria. Ie 27th may 2021.
However recently only last week 720 pair is out another replacement one a braintree and southend diagramm.
So looking like 427 and another now in warm store.
Don't forget the school train ends from ingaestone in the afternoon so another will go into store.
Making it around 3.
Because recently it appears abeillo Anglia only keep 3 in store at clacton and use iff needed like with 421.
However any further information and updates would be ideal iff anyone knows what other two have joined 427 In store.

Do we have an exact or rough date for the non-PRM 321s being withdrawn from service yet?

I spoke to a ga conductor a week ago and he said the 321’s won’t be going for some time yet

Im aware 321s in general are likely to be around for a good while yet its more specifically the non-PRM ones i’m interested in

One that matter, I’m not too sure; depends on the delivery of the 720’s. I’d imagine September being the last month of non prm 321’s.

Not enough Class 720s around for that. GA currently showing a pre-covid peak timetable for September to December.

This might be the wrong place to ask too but is there allocated diagrams for 321s & 720s or is it either or?

According to the cascade plan in Today's Railways UK the remaining non PRM units are on lease until the end of November. I'd expect the numbers will dwindle before then depending on how many 720s enter service and how many more units are required in September.

I think they can turn up anywhere, on any diagram

I was at Clacton today and saw 343 "self-isolating" but with its pan up, so hopefully, not in store. Same with 426 although it was coupled to a PRM classmate
Possibly there swapping the non prm 3213 around into out off service ie mileage wide. To keep mileage or major servicing issues down

Yes. 26x Non-PRM Class 321s allowed until 31/12/21. Are there currently 26 non PRM units in service?
I have the following non-PRM 321s listed as still with GA (both operational and warm store)

331, 333, 335, 336, 337, 338, 339, 340, 341, 342, 343, 406, 409, 410, 421, 423, 424, 426, 427, 430, 433, 434, 436, 440, 441 and 447

Just so happens there are 26!

Spot on with what I have. However from time to time what is left will go into store and come back out again.
Also very much tally with the recent moves as just so happens 407 332 where out off action at clacton/colchester last week may.
With also at clacton 321419 and 321428 and 321432 and 321429.
Also last week may at clacton the above x4 just mentioned also there in the sin bin sidings not looking good.
Again all tallies together.
HOWEVER like on northern like the 142s before on xmas 2020 ending early.
Don't leave it till the last possible minute.

I thought 427 was in storage.
No it came back out Tuesday 20 th July 2021. With 321312 apparently.
What is left off the 3214s will probably stay longer than non prm 3213 .
Due to 12 car braintree and need for guard/conductor door de select l.
3213 don't have them.
Suspect 3213 into and out off store more.ie as needed as well etc.
321427 was in store from end may 2021.
However its possible 321331 336 337 are possibly in store but wouldn't like to commit myself for certain.
427 did swap with 331 end off last week.

I'm guessing units can come in and out of store as the need arises. Hoping 331 isn't in store at the moment...
It maybe. But might have swapped to come out again and another 3213 could be well in its place.
321331 was in store Tuesday off last week the 22nd July 2021.
Due to swap 321427.
But a week later ie as say could land lucky and another one it has swapped with.
This week on I am a bit uncertain. Unlike before when it was known what had actually finished.

At Ilford EMUD Status N / SERVICEABLE Arr 1627 on 26/07
Good to see. So obviously what is left is safe for the time being.
However caution to the wind.
Don't leave things to the last minute.
So what's left at this moment unless 720s etc. will cycle around for use ie. here some days maybe at rest others.
Hopefully they can see a good few weeks yet before withdrawal.

A look at train logger says that it was sighted at Stratford on the 28th.

I last saw 321331 at Clacton depot on 2nd June.
