I did use these trains in the mid 90s and my recollection of the First Class seats is that they were of the same 2+2 layout and design as Standard in a 442. I'm 99% certain that there were no full size tables.

was the seat trim design the same colour as the 442s or the dark trim used on 321 first class seats i ask as its the only interior i dont have a picture for or can find on the web.

I'm sure that it was dark.

I also think the 319/1s stuck with 16 seats in the First Class section, matching the 321/4s (that also had a second 12 seat saloon), whereas the Class 321/3s on the Great Eastern division had their First Class seating reduced to 12 after customer complaints.

With 40 319/0s (319021-319060) in an all Standard Class layout and 26 319/1s (319161-319186) with First Class which services had First Class provision on Thameslink?

Bedford-Brighton, so most of the services running non stop between St Albans and King's Cross Thameslink. They even had buffet trolleys in the era.

Foe some reason my recollection is that originally the 319/1s had 20 seats in the first class section, 14 in 2+2 bays and a row of 4 across the back.
