There's also only 3 class 334 units still in the old SPT colours (plus two with the ScotRail exterior and old SPT interior). So take a trip on the North Clyde Line soon if you're a fan of bright green, red and orange.

What happened to the idea mentioned a while ago by Scotrail that they were planning to fit Bodyside DOO cameras to the older strathclyde area EMUs like the 318s

318264 (think I got the number right) was sat in Doncaster West Yard on Tuesday, obviously awaiting a move back north as was in Saltaire livery.

Only one left now, 334004. 334005 is being done now, 011 released a few weeks ago. 006/012 new livery but not refurbished yet, as you say.

I thought that they went down to Doncaster in a random order, same with the 320s.

They so far are going in roughly the same order as they last went to Hunslet in Kilmarnock, which should make 254 the next to follow 259 when released

Wouldnt be suprised if a few issues may have cropped up with 254 as it had had a couple of rebuilds with the Largs crash and the SECC derailment.

Maybe way off the mark, but I would think this may be the case

That seems like the most likely reason for it taking so long. Bad luck seemed to follow 254 around.
