Hello, with all the fleet changes going on at Greater Anglia at the moment one thing has stuck out. Spending some time at Tottenham Hale recently you can see that when a 5 carriage 720 Hertford East service arrives people are cramming on.
What I want to know is apparently work was meant to be undertaken at Hertford East and Stratford to accommodate the new train lengths. So far I haven’t seen any such work undertaken. So what does the future hold? Completely phase the 317s out and run 5 carriage 720s? Or keep some 317s or complete the required infrastructure work?
