Class 317 future

Hey everyone, I came across this part of the Angel Trains website which seems to show some kind of plan for the future of the 317 stock, with upgrades etc. It could be an old thing, but seems slick enough that it could be current. Thoughts?

I’m fairly sure they had long given up on the demonstrater unit by that time.

Aside from the Class 442s, Angel Trains seems much more inclined towards all-new rolling stock.

After Classes 313, 314 and 315, Class 317 is a prime candidate for the scrap yard. Those steel bodies have been patch repaired too many times, structural integrity is fast approaching end of life.
