At 13:30 yesterday, I spotted a Class 317 on the high level tracks at Willesden Junction Station, any idea as to its origin and where it was going to would be much appreciated.

To FCC for use use while some of their existing fleet goes off for C4s/C6s etc.

All of the stored 317/7's at Eastleigh have been returned to Ilford, with 317708 being the last to return yesterday. I understand 4 are going to FCC to use whilst the 365 overhaul is done. Unsure which 4, but 317722 will not be one of them.

Cheers all for the knowledge. How long will they be with FCC for?
I'm not sure sorry but probably until they've regained their full GN fleet, or maybe longer for extra capacity.
