I can heartily recommend the 313 driver experience, if anyone is considering it. It's a short trundle up and down the yard at Eastleigh, but the drivers (volunteers, one from GBRF and one from Chiltern on Saturday) and all the other volunteer staff were brilliant, and it was a great atmosphere despite the torrid weather.

2nd November date is now sold out but I expect they'll add more.

Thanks for this really helpful and enthusiastic review!
I’m booked for Saturday’s event and just wondering if each ticket holder’s time is set by the organisers or if it’s a case of queueing up and choosing your time slot? Unfortunately I now have to get back home asap to manage grandchildren due to an unexpected change in their childcare arrangements!

Thanks for the positive feedback. Sorry we couldn’t control the weather.

It takes a lot of planning to get this off the ground. Whatever feedback however positive or negative it is, means we can make improvements or know what we are doing well accordingly.

Thanks

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience on 02/11 and the organisers were really kind in allowing me to have first dibs at driving the unit so I could get home on time to look after the grandkids. I really appreciate the kindness.
I met so many chatty, happy people, great to see loads of younger people too.
If any further experiences are offered, book early (as Fred Pontin used to say)!
