About two weeks ago on a Saturday i saw two Silverlink liveried 313's first time I've seen more than one LO 313. They were on the up slow lines (the London Midland ones) naer Harrow i was on a train heading south.

*newbie butting in*

That 313 move on the up slow line wasn't really anything interesting to be honest. Well fair enough getting 313s on the mainline is unusual but it was only going from Watford pl1 to Willesden TMD via the mainline due to the block at Harrow over christmas and new years, and unrelated to the Southern lark. The back unit (forgotten the number now, was 116 possibly) was on half power.

Here it is during its shunt off the DC lines to the mainline the night before the move happened at Watford.

If you still want to see the reliveried 313's, they are currently still present at Willesden - Best viewed from the Bakerloo / Watford DC lines. There is one on the WCML side, but it is cuirrently obscured from view by some coaches and an LO 313.

Accurate as of 1600 on JAN 23rd.

Is it just me or is that green lighter than the 455s?

Did you notice the small Southern loco near the cab?

First post. One of the Southern liveried 313's (might be 204) has been on the rear on the weekday afternoon training runs coming into Brighton last week. These run as 6 coach trains, the front unit (sorry don't know the number) is still in unbranded Silverlink, and the interiors on both units are original.

Well i know of one repainted 313 now at Brighton. So i wouldnt be suprised if it were used for training, frees up a non-repainted train.

Only thing the Southern 313s will have their pans removed to save weight, how much weight will they end up saving?

The Coastway livery suits the 313's! Are some ex-Southeastern 508's still going to join them or is it now going to be all-313's? If so what is happening to the 508/2's as I read that the 508/3's have gone to Merseyrail??

Interesting - with the lower grey band below the windows, the Southern livery appears to be nearing that of sister franchise London Midland...

On thing thats always bothered me, is southeastern. SN & LM have very simalar websites and liveries, whereas SE is just on its own with no connection. Also, why do they take so long to paint trains? I mean its been over for years now, and they have done a handful of trains :?

And the funny thing is its not like much is changing on the livery :D Just grey and yellow to blue.

I thought Southeastern retained the livery from connex days abelt with a new logo... when you say blue you mean just the doors? what trains have blue? the predominantly white theme has been retained?

Yeah, the doors and the strip along the bottom.

Apparently not. 2 of them were moved to Warrington Arpley yard as if they were going to Merseyrail and then taken back to Eastleigh works. Currently all 3 are stored there.

Yep, Last minute paperwork & space issues forced them to come back...

Please Take Them!!!

Woa. Is that what they are going to look like now :|Like bus advertising :D

Thats why the Southern Logos werent in the middle. :)

Oh dear...trying to sneak in abit of bus style advertsing i see...least the rest of the unit dosent look to bad...though itd look alot better if it was in the current Southern livery with more dark green to light green...
