Class 303 liveries question.

Can somebody tell me if this unit is wearing GMPTE colours or SPTE colours?

Did any of these units transfer from Glasgow to Manchester and keep the same colours given the similarity of the liveries?

It's GMPTE livery. 303082 never carried SPTE livery as it was blue/grey when transferred to Manchester.

I don't think any 303s retained SPTE livery when working around Manchester.

Plus it has the old GMPTE logo next to the BR logo

Almost certainly GMPTE livery.

My 1987 Platform 5 combined volume shows 303082 and several others allocated to LG, and in standard blue/grey livery. So unless it was transferred back to Scotland in the interim, the repaint would have been to GMPTE's specification.

I think that the GMPTE window stripe was brown whilst the SPTE window stripe was black.
