I visited the GWR for their Diesel Gala on the 27th July & 2 things happened to the above loco's on their debut:
Class 26 had a traction motor fire in the am & failed again during a double header on the way back to Toddington from Laverton Loop.
Class 45 preformed fine till 5pm, that failed at Cheltenham, there was a bang & loads of oil poured onto the rails.
Wondered if anyone else has the latest info on the 2 loco's.
