Courtesy of the SWT Yahoo Group I understand that one of the remaining Class 210 vehicles is to be a donor vehicle (in part) to help rebuild Class 455 5913 which was involved in the Oxshott cement mixer accident last November.

67301 was moved to Wolverton last month. Quite what form it will take as a 'donor' I'm not sure, as it is a driving car and the coach from 5913 that was most severely damaged was a centre vehicle. Major rebuild perhaps?

It would be a major rebuild indeed as I think the coach that received the most damage was the motor coach. Not sure if this coach is structurally any different to the other coaches to handled the extra weight? Though perhaps the plan is to use the superstructure from the non-driving end of 67301 to rebuild the damaged end of the motor car. Interesting though, as I thought 5913 was unlikely to return.

I would expect that to be the case as one end of 71726 was crushed but the other end appeared to be ok.
