Class 20s at Peterborough

While enjoying all the comforts of Grand Central, I've noticed a pair of BR Blue liveried Class 20s stabled at the GBRF depot - How long will they be there and what are they doing if anyone knows please?

They might be one of the pair that are being used to transfer tube stock to neasden.

Well after a closer look southbound on the GC after stopping for a signal, one of them I think is 20142 in BR Blue with the other Class 20 in BR Green.

Certainly makes a nice change from the usual staple of 66s and 67s with the odd 31s and 37s working for NR.

They're the two that were at March last week,i'm almost certain.

20142 has LU trip cocks fitted for the stock movements to neasden, I think.

The green one should be 20189. It's been used recently for other LU moves with 20227 (the railfreight one).

I couldn't see the number of the green one as my view was blocked was some wagons so probably yes it was 20189.
