Looks like tomorrow the 197s will finally be serving the Shrewsbury to Wolverhampton to Birmingham Line. I've found part of one diagram with 197124 doing Holyhead to International and International to Aberystwyth.

Apparently it may change to not be a 197 but we will se.

197s aren't signed off for use on the Cambrian yet - and the allocated unit isn't an ERTMS fitted unit, so that definitely won't be happening. Also looks like that particular service is supposed to couple with a (158) unit coming off the Cambrian, so it's quite possible that even the first part of that won't even make it to Birmingham as a 197

Looks like a 158 instead now.
