Class 195 on Leeds-Wigan NW-Leeds

Took me by surprise! 195104 just seen it with my own eyes. Wish the camera had been ready. Is this a one-off?
Have 195s ever worked passenger on the Atherton line before?

There is an all day booked diagram for a 195/1 on this route from today.

Victoria and Wigan drivers will both sign the route, the former certainly 195s and probably Wigan too.

Yes even before covid 19.
They did appear on Wigan to Leeds via the Atherton line.
Remember them working vice a 158 especially early March 2020.
When the Pacers nearly disappeared.

Victoria drivers sign both ways and in fact have a couple of jobs going from North Western right through to Leeds and vice versa. Drove one such job just last week ...

There was a 2117 Leeds to Man Vic via Elland that was booked a 195 previously, came off a via Bradford service

That's a shame.

Liked having the Leeds - Wigan service as a stalwart of vintage traction.

Disappointed to see only a 2 carriage unit turn up at Atherton a couple of Saturdays ago. Wasn't particularly full at the time, but didn't fancy chancing the hoardes beyond Vic.
