Just watched one of Geoff Marshall’s video released today and noticed that the new Class 195 unit have the UIC number as well.

is this the first time on GB railways?

Why are CAF built trains displaying the EVN when no other passenger stock is?

As the high speed lines to and from St Pancras are in GB, the answer is no. All Eurostar’s carry EVNs.

Why not? It's their choice. They don't have to IIRC, but there's no harm in doing so.

I believe there is a requirement to show the EVN which came in recently which is why there is a mix of new stock carrying and not carrying the numbers.

The numbers have to be carried but, on stock which is unlikely to work out of the UK, it can be inside. On stock which works out of the country, it must be shown on the outside. I don’t know the date from which this applied but it isn’t retrospective.
