Have Transpennine Express changed their seating plans on class 185s recently.

I've got a standard class advance ticket here for coach A seat 4, which on the plans available by searching on google, looks to be a first class seat?

Can anyone clarify if this is the case?

Where are you travelling from & to? If its Edinburgh or Glasgow then you service may be operated by a class 350/4

Also to add to the above, have a check on RTT and see if it's pathed as "Diesel Multiple Unit" or "Class 350/4" :)

Yes they are swapping the 185 seating plan sometime this month so that coach C is 1st class on both 185s and 350s in case one subs the other on the Anglo Scottish services. There is another thread on here somewhere about it

That would explain it then. The tickets are for 1st week of November

It wouldn't be a 350 as its Leeds to Newcastle, I did think there was a slim chance it may have been a 170 but unlikely.
