185144 is the latest Repaint however the numbers are on the side instead of at the front, For anyone who wants it I saw it at Platform 14 in Manchester Piccadilly at 11:08

You don't say what livery but can guess its New trans pennine livery.
So there are now 3

185 108
185 123 with poppy extra's on the unit ends
185 144

NOTE 185 123 is working the South Trans Pennine today.

Revinyled rather than repainted, isn't it? ;)

Is 185144 the first unit to be refurbished then, or is it still "as is" inside, as my understanding was that Transpennine weren't applying the new livery to any more units until they'd been for refurbishment?

Am afraid I was on a Train so was not able to check the inside, Hopefully someone else on here will see it and let us know if it has had an inside refurb

I was on one the other week that had definitely received some new carpets so something seems to be happening with them

We've been told that nothing will happen refurb wise until early next year. All being done in house by Siemens.

Worn out bits and pieces are still being replaced but that's it.

Nothing new or refurbed as yet. Havent even got the pretendolino!

Suprised they have re-vinyled a third set. Werent supposed to be doing any more until refurb. Havent seen the pink tip flying around for a while tho...

144 may have been tagged. 131 was running round yesterday with some poorly scrubbed graffiti.

104 I saw in Manchester Piccadilly yesterday evening still with the pink ends.

I glimpsed it at Stockport last Sunday. Thought I was seeing things until a post elsewhere on this forum confirmed that, yes, there is currently a 185 running around with pink ends!

Commemorates manchester pride. Criticized for stereotyping.

Not popular with traincrews especially conductors who have to look "fabulous" sticking their heads out of the droplight!

Just took it into newcastle on 1E94. Due out in the morning on 1F62, 1F63 or 5F82.

Looks different to the other two. Light blue is a slight bit darker. Think the purple is a lot smaller too. Maybe its just vinyls are brand new I dunno....

No looking at pictures side by side shape and colour are identical, one difference is this one has a wheelchair icon on the doors though.

That is correct. The 350s will receive the new livery though

There is no lease agreed for the 350/4s. That they'll go to LM is just speculation informed by the fact that's where the other 350s are, but that has not been confirm, and probably won't be until the new West Midlands franchise is announced.

Not keen on the unit number moving to the side!

As an aside, Poppies seen at Sheffield earlier this evening and Pink was seen at Ashburys this afternoon, so they are both still out

I think the unit number moving to the side of the carriage body makes the front look a bit bare (even with the TPE logo), especially because I'm used to seeing the Class 185 unit numbers on the front!

185 108 as seen in Newcastle tonight on P12 where it is being stabled.

The only difference is 144's bodyside numbers, and obviously the newer more shiny condition of the vinyls.

350's are NOT receiving the new vinyls according to internal comms, i will of course stand corrected if officially advised otherwise. The newer condition of the vinyls which do not feature the former logos in the same way the 185's did along with the short time frame the 350s remain with the franchise being the apparent justification for not replacing the vinyls.

You must be reading different internal comma to me Dave as according to the latest fleet update, they are.

My poor communications skills there. I meant it is correct that they will be leaving TPE for another franchise which is currently unknown.

First's efforts at rebranding their operations do seem to be painfully slow at the moment, what with TPE with New and Dynamic Lines liveries - will they / wont they on the 350s, GWR with GW Green / FGW Blue & FGW Dynamic Lines liveries, Hull Trains with a logo switch.

I suppose the bus side overhaul seems to be going a little quicker with First Kernow & Buses of Somerset!

Looks like another one is out today in the new livery. 185131 (i think) on the 1406 Newcastle to Liverpool Lime Street.

Not a fan of the new numbers!

I really fail to see the point in moving the numbers to the sides. An already terrible livery gets worse!
