Class 180 on Old Dalby Test Track

There was a Grand Central class 180 parked on the bridge over the A52 at the northern extremity of the Old Dalby test track this evening at around 16:30. Anyone know why it is there?

There was a unit that had a mishap not long back, perhaps it could be that one?

I believe it is there in order to test in cab signalling for future use on the ECML
