Basically once Bombardier have completed all 23 units of the 377/5 the production line will switch over to the 172 Turbostars. London Overground and Chiltern Railways are due to get the first units with London Midlands arriving after. Originally Overground trains were to be deliveried first in late 2009 but as the continued problems the 377/5 fleet end date has shifted from Spring to December. This means around 6 months late start for the 172 production lines.

The LM 172 were due to be in service by July 2010 but with the delay its likely the units once start coming into service until July 2010 at the earliest with full fleet by December 2010. This is unless Bombardier made to catch up some time or moves the orders around. Hope this helps.
