Class 170's on North Berwick runs

Just a quick question as to how often Class 170's appear on the North Berwick runs as i was in Edinburgh today and was shocked to see 170472 on the 1443 service for North Berwick the only reason i ask is because i am aware that the route is usually electric operation with Class 380's doing the honours but also understand that DMU's can step in if needed.

There are at least 2 services a day to North Berwick which is DMU operated, as well as one of the Dunbar services.

Three return workings to/from North Berwick are DMU operated.

12:20, 15:22 and 19:05 from North Berwick.

Also the 08:08 Prestonpans to Edinburgh peak extra. This unit then goes onto a Dunblane service.

As mentioned, the diagram continues onto a 'non-electrified' service with Dundee and Tweedbank amongst destinations.
