The bulk of them are Porterbrook owned. Eversholt financed 9 units for ScotRail (170416-424; 421-424 are now 171201/202/401/402) and 3 for Chiltern (168111-113); everything else is Porterbrook's.off the top of my head, porterbrook and eversholt

Wheel slip protection = traction controlBasically the train equivalent of traction control/anti brakelock system.
Wheel slip protection = traction control
Wheel slide protection = anti-lock brakes
Confusingly both are WSP, just one is when accelerating, the other when braking.
blasted Blue flashing light in a 170 cab when either of these happen!! Disco lights at night!
