Hi

I hope you are well ?

does anyone have technical info / documentation to say what speed the class 170 / 171 is able to go to full power? As I understand it, If you put it in notch 7, the computer won’t allow engine full power until after. . . . . Mph. Is it 10mph or 15mph …or something else ?
just doing some research

thanks

You can physically put the TBC in 7 from a stand, but I believe the low-speed relay restricts to Notch 5 power to about 12mph.

I've seen previously read something about some sort 'half-power' feature to 30mph but I've never been clear what that is if it even is a thing; sometimes it came up as a reason for the Turbostars reputed sluggishness at lower speeds.
