I find they're good as long as you can get a seat. It's a pain when they end up working suburban services to Aylesbury and Bicester North.
I prefer the appearance of the original BR design ones. The newer build are just 170s in disguise

Its true. I really do like 168001-005. They are the best looking IMO (In my opinion). I think 168 106 - 113 are quite nice, I love the buffers.
