The Class 158 was released from oovee.co.uk a couple of days back, but before getting your hopes up like most people have it isn't that good, it accelerates far too fast and the brakes are a wee bit better than they are in real life, I do wonder who this mystery driver is that alledgedly verifies Zanes trains as Realistic because the 156 they released a while back is far from realistic, it would take a 156 about 3 times as long as the bve version takes to hit 75! then again what can we expect from someone who pretends to work on the railways:roll:

Well maybe it is you making a mistake. Okay sure some of us rail enthusiasts have been in the cabs of the trains and sat on them going across the country time and time again but to be fair a driver's a driver and they know what they're doing.

Now't like telling people how to do their jobs ;)

The 158 is a great release, and works really well in open as well. Plus you're obviously fairly blind, as there is a thread slightly further down the page detailing the release. It seems your thread should be renamed "my opinion on the 158 and having a go at the developers at the same time".

Telling people how to do their jobs? Who's telling people how to do there jobs? Put it this way, I've had cab runs which I'm not going to say what train it was in, just put it this way, it accelerates far too fast.

Well Steven I am sorry to say but by saying the 'driver verified' 158 is innacurate and then going on to make this comment:

Why put 'Driver verified' if it aint realistic then, it's easy enough to be done, i've mucked around with the acceleration on the 156 I have for the game and its far better

what you are essentially saying is that you know better than the driver which is kind of, indirectly, colloquially speaking, telling someone how to do their job...

lol, i know what i meant and the point was there's no real need for this thread, fine have your opinion on something but no need to get all narced up about it ;)

I've had cab runs too dude, so its not like you're the only one... let it go

Ditto your original one. But then again, seeing as you are the well-known 156 driver known across the highlands, you are the guy to trust...

I presume you are new to the BVE world as Zane Saxton has got several websites made about him for pretending to be a guard etc. and just being a stoat basically, so this so called driver is himself....

Bollocks to that - it was cleared up ages ago. Reece was just as responsible for the production of the 158, so there should be no prejudice against Zane.

Besides, other than slagging off other peoples work, what exactly have you done for BVE?

Hello again Mr abusive, I've made a few trains, and I wouldn't bother my arse uploading them, let me put it that way;)

Why do I get the feeling that the OP is bashing the author of the 158 just for the sake of it? These people put a lot of time into creating BVE projects that benefit a huge community of people and get no profit from it - the last thing they need is petty criticism. Please take this rant off forum, it is not welcome here.
