Class 158 DCC Sounds Kits

Are they very hard to install? I know it'll involve isolating the motor from the track supply so that the motor gets it's power via the decoder rather then the track?

Fitting a DCC decoder into a Bachmann 158 isn't hard, though you will have to consider how you want the lighting to be wired, I've never fitted a speaker to use a sound decoder though. It should just be a case of identifying a good spot for it. The current 158 models have a metal chassis in the motor car and the motor is centrally mounted, quite low in the chassis.
