An odd request but one that is annoying me, somewhere on the net I have seen a guide I am sure showing how to tell the difference between the types of air con as fitted to class 158s, and the main give away from the platform was the roof vent above the doors, however I can not remember which is which. Does anyone have any photos of each type? Or know of the guide I seem to recall?

Cheers

All 158s probably have the Liebherr system fitted now, these have the larger, flatter 'grilles' as opposed to the squarer, taller, covered vents of the old systems - Ebac or Vapour Stone.

The reason I asked is the EMT train I was on this morning from Nottingham to MCO was a double unit, and both had different aircon grills, I belive one was the old AC and one was the new, but I couldn't remember which was which,

There are some sort of controls/indicator lights in the vestibules, with the makers' name on.
