Class 156 in Diss

Any theories regarding the passing of a 156 DMU through diss this afternoon? Heading towards Norwich. I was on the road so don't know if it had passengers or if it stopped...

Not very much unusual in that. 153/156/170 ECS moves to/from Ipswich or Colchester happen all the time.

Probably 156409 which was returning to Crown Point from the Sudbury branch having been failed with door issues. (source Anglia-Gen)

2T12, 2T13, 2T14, 2T15, 2T16 and 2T17 also cancelled.
defective unit returned to NCP as a failure, 153322 taken out of IPS CS to reform
Sudbury branch service from 1401 as a 1 v 2 car - coach supplements arranged by DIM,
VSTP submitted for stock balancing moves required to get a replacement unit to
Ipswich for 2D94 this evening.
