Brilliant idea! The preservation railways tend to have a carriage stabled at a spare platform for the usual model & spotter shop. Maybe Ian Allen could move a few doors down to this new prime retail unit.
On a serious note I saw a 150 a few weeks ago in platform eleven a bit late on in the day and it seemed to be revving it's ballhooks off and I mean seriously revving as though it had a stuck throttle, yet there was no bugger about and it was just left alone. The only thing is I am positive that this was a 150/2...
but anyone else here who has ever tried to free a ceased floating jornal bearing will know you don't want to be doing that on your back. Or with an audience, that you would gain by doing this on the station
