Does any have a picture of the Destination Code list that was fitted inside the cab on the original Merseyrail class 142 units (142051 - 142058), the lists that are fitted to the present 142s have a Northern list, im looking for the original FNW list.

Cheers

I don't know the answer but would question whether a FNW list would be the original list given the refurbishment of those units pre-dates FNW and FNW made have added or removed stations.

Just a little side note but I was playing with one the other day and managed to get it talking for the route. What I found strange was say if I selected Barrow in Furness it would only announce as far as Preston then display end of route!

Barrrow wasn't a Merseytravel City Line route. Liverpool-Wigan-Preston would have been one.

I was surprised in FNW days when a Victoria-Wakefield Westgate service terminated short at Kirkgate due to engineering works and a Merseytravel 142 was on Victoria-Wakefields it correctly displayed Kirkgate.

I do have a picture of a Northern Class 142 Destination Code list, which i have attached. But i am looking for a picture of a class 142 code list that was used for the original Merseyrail 142s that were fitted with Digital Displays.

142081 which was based at Neville Hill was fitted with a digital display but i dont think i ever worked, it never was when i saw it.

Teesside Airport? That's a very unlikely destination! Then you have some obvious destinations omitted like Skipton and Morpeth.

Broad Green and Bryn are unlikely final destinations, as neither station has facilities for allowing terminating trains to reverse.
