Class 120 DMUs

Reading set L571 was 2 class 119 driving cars with a class 120 centre car at one point in the early 80s. 59282 was the number. There is a picture of it on the excellent Railcar UK website of it at Reading. Look at the underframe, its very apparent.

Great spot - I missed that, I didn't check class 119 pages.

For the benefit of all, here's a photo of class 120 Trailer ex-Buffet Second 59282 in L571, with class 119 DMBC 51052 and DMSL 51080 flanking it. The sturdier undeframe of the class 120 vehicle is very apparent.

By the latter 1980s, the class 120 trailer had been withdrawn and replaced with class 119 Trailer ex-Buffet Second 59434.

Id remembered that such a set existed at Reading. I was just unsure of the set number.
