Anyone know what's been going on at Clapham J platforms 1 & 2 today? They've been closed for almost the whole day and TfL status says the Windrush Line is suspended between CLJ and Surrey Quays due to a "Fire Alert"
I can also see that the Mildmay is diverting into platform 17 due to the same issue

There was a fire on the track near Clapham Junction which is now extinguished (2117).

The fire next to the track in the Clapham Junction area has been extinguished, and Network Rail teams are continuing to assess the damage it has caused to the railway infrastructure.

Services between Clapham Junction and Dalston Junction will be cancelled or revised to run between Battersea Park and Dalston Junction.

No Windrush line services will serve Clapham Junction.

Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

Traksy is showing that there is a block to electric traction in platform 1, a "*TI*" in platform 2. The approaches to these platforms from both Imperial Wharf (Latchmere Jn) and Wandsworth Road (Longhedge Jn) are marked as "NOGO"
(A traksy map showing the above)

Fire at a substation near Longhedge Jn which has reportedly taken out a bunch of feeder cables.

Looks to have been resolved finally. I guess it was enough to knock out the power to Wandsworth Road? Otherwise they would have run the Windrush trains to Battersea Park instead of Surrey Quays surely

The NR status page in post #2 above says some Windrush trains running to Battersea Park. I suspect the issue might be that they couldn't maintain the timetable if they ran all trains to Battersea. I seem to recall that the timetable involves some very slick working at Clapham Jcn, with the next train arriving very shortly after the previous one has left. Do those timings work if they divert to Battersea?

Battersea Park can handle the whole Windrush service (which happens during engineering work). In fact it is closer to Wandsworth Road than Clapham Junction is, so there is no problem with timings.
