On 2024-10-29, I was delayed while travelling from Hoxton to West Hampstead.
The oyster card records show that I tapped in at 20:45 and tapped out at 21:48.
1. The "How to claim" section of the TFL website (https://tfl.gov.uk/fares/refunds-and-replacements/overground-and-elizabeth-line-delays) asks me to sign in or to create an account. However, when I clicked the button, instead of taking me to https://contactless.tfl.gov.uk/, it took me to another page (https://tfl.gov.uk/help-and-contact/maintenance-for-contactless) which says that the contactless website is unavailable (probably due to the IT problems which were discovered earlier this year).
I waited for nearly 1 month hoping that the site would be up and running soon, but no luck.
Does anyone know how to actually make a claim, or if it is even possible at the moment?
2. Is it even worth making a claim? I understand that TFL only pays out if the delay is more than 30 minutes. I am not even sure how long it would take to travel from Hoxton to West Hampstead. If it is more than 33 minutes, it is probably not worth it?
