Just seen this exchange on Scottish Citylinks twitter.

For those who can't see, a passenger is complaining that a coach is making a drop off at a stop not usually served. Citylink say that if it is safe to do so, drivers can legally drop off anywhere.
Does anyone know if this is correct? Are there different rules for coach services and bus services? Or have Citylink maybe done something like register all bus stops on their route as drop off only, except the ones they advertise calling at?
