Yes, Southeastern confirmed in a press release two weeks ago that the introduction was complete. It's not clear if they are running any additional services in place of Networkers or just rotating round the existing 26 diagrams over 30 units instead of 28.

Yes I knew they'd moved, the question is if they are now running passenger services like the rest. AFAIK no further Networker drags to storage have happened, so maybe the 2 new 707s will be extra capacity overall (given extra services are being brought in with the December timetable change, this may well be necessary).

Yep the press release was issued shortly after they entered passenger service though didn't state that fact particularly clearly. Gillingham turned them around in two weeks and then into service the following week with a few pictures of them out and about on twitter.

It's unclear what the long term plan is, they might not bother with drags for 2 class 465s and a 466. It's also plausible the 707s can't easily take over a Networker diagram.

The ‘City Beam’ – as the new fleet will be branded – derives its name from the train’s heritage (known as the ‘Desiro City’ by the manufacturer, Siemens) and highlights the fact that for the most part, they'll be delivering passengers across the capital.

The ‘beam’ part of the name reflects what the trains will offer – and, as there are no carriage doors, there'll be an uninterrupted view from one end to the other, making it like a ray or beam of light in motion.

Well that will speed up boarding and alighting but may have a negative affect on safety record!

Yes 707s don't go to Victoria, like with 376s, ruling out Orpington, Bexleyheath line and Gillingham diagrams, while the lack of toilets rules them out of taking over any Tunbridge Wells' diagrams. Anything else though shouldn't be too difficult if all other factors are in order.
